Parkway Christian Center offers a wide array of activities for Early Childhood and Elementary age children from weekly classes to vivid lessons and experiences. Our goal is to provide a well-balanced program to build practical Christian living into our children.

 At Parkway Christian Center we believe that a child is never too young to learn about the love of Jesus Christ.

Early Childhood - We have a wonderful nursery for children birth through 2 years of age that is open during regular services times on Sundays and Wednesdays, as well as a fabulous preschool wing for children 3 years old through Kindergarten.  All of our workers, teachers and volunteers undergo background screening and personal interviews. Security is a high priority for our Children’s ministries.

Grades 1st Through 5th - We consider this group to be one of our most precious assets. Parkway Christian Center is focused on making significant investments into the lives of each and every child by teaching God's Word. All of our teachers and volunteers undergo a background screening and personal interview. Boys and girls are able to build safe, life lasting relationships with their teachers.

Open to kids in grades K-5th. 
Meets in the new KidFactorE wing, directly behind the playground. 
Rainbows, a program for children ages 3 through pre-Kindergarten, will continue to be available in the Preschool Wing.

 Weekend Kids' Church Grades 1st-5th

From the moment you enter the Parkway Kids Church area you will be warmly greeted. Our caring team of volunteers focus on your child's safety and well being at all times. Every Sunday morning kids encounter a uniquely designed message just for them. There is excellent worship, humorous skits, larger than life illustrations and top quality multimedia used to help reinforce your child's learning of God's Word

After large group time, kids are engaged with the most personal and interactive approach—small groups. Each child earns points by bringing back the completed MAP Book the following week signed by their parent or guardian.

The best part of all is the way in which each KWIZMO reinforces the lesson, Bible verse, and Compass Point. Competition based questions, quizzes, and challenges, make for a wild and zany time. Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) was created and designed to help children develop a love for the Bible and an understanding that its truth can guide their lives daily. Junior Bible Quiz offers a fun, exciting way to motivate children to understand the all-important truths in God’s Word.

Through cooperative learning, children work together on teams to learn and understand the questions and answers from the Bible Fact-Pak. Then using cooperative competition the children meet with other teams for a fun quizzing match. There are twenty questions in a match, with two teams of quizzers trying to beat each other to the buzzers to get the first shot at the answers.

It has been said that JBQ is the fastest growing discipleship program in children’s ministry!
