Once again our Tradition's Seniors will be celebrating the birth of Jesus by giving gifts to families, seniors and single parents at Parkway. If you are interested in joining Traditions in adopting a family or senior at Parkway then join them at their next weekly meeting on Thursdays at 10 a.m. in the Conference Center. On Dec 20th, they will begin delivering their blessings and singing carols to those they visit.
Traditions and Life after fifty (LAF) will be hosting our annual B.I.G. (Blessed In God) Day Dinner at the Grants Pass Golf Course on Friday, November 16, at 6:00 PM. We'll have a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixins'. Buy your ticket for only $10 per person and bring a guest. Intermittent door prize drawings will be occurring as we fellowship, eat a great meal and hear an encouraging word from Guest Speaker Evangelist Gary Huenke. Seating is somewhat limited so buy your ticket early. Join us for this BIG event!!

Our Seder Meal will be on Thursday, March 29 at 6 pm in our Fellowship Hall. We will be presenting a shortened Christian version of the meal Christ typically would have participated in at the Lord's Supper (Passover) which has deep meaning and tradition for our Jewish ancestors and is an important teaching tool for Christ's Church.
Join us Thursday morning (March 29 at 10 am in the Fellowship Hall) for a special teaching on Maundy Thursday (primarily focusing on our Christian tradition) by our Traditions group. You are invited to attend both the teaching and the meal, or the meal only.

Mark your calendar! Life After 50 is hosting their annual Valentine's Banquet on February 16 at 6 p.m. This year's dinner will be held at the Grants Pass Golf Course. All are welcome, singles and couples alike, and those both over and under 50! The cost is $15 per person, and includes dinner and entertainment. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite new friends and loved ones to a faith focused evening and a great meal. We will be taking an offering for the entertainment. Join Life After Fifty (LAF) for an evening of fun. LAF is having their annual game night in the Fellowship Hall. They will play Bunko with prizes and refreshments plus a great time of meeting new people and enjoying old friends. LAF events are those over 50, empty nesters and retired adults. Bring your favorite snack to share. Church will supply coffee, tea and lemonade.
Life After 50 is preparing for their annual Thanksgiving B.I.G. Dinner as we celebrate how Blessed In God we really are. There will be great food, great fellowship and a fantastic gathering to celebrate God's Blessings, with time for sharing, singing and growing relationships. This year our annual holiday meal (turkey and all of the side dishes, deserts, drinks and entertainment) will be at the Grants Pass Golf Course Dining Room. Cost is $10 per person in advance, $12 at the door. Chief cook Rob with our own Robin Swanburg are overseeing service and hostessing.
Join Traditions for the Fall Health Fair in the Fellowship Hall! Our Parish Nurse Team will present life directive information and forms, provide general health information and answer any of your health questions. There will also be information about the upcoming GriefShare Ministry event, 'Surviving the Holidays.' The Fall Health Fair is open to everyone, especially those who are 50+.
