SUMMER180

Be a part of something this summer.

Catalyst Youth is kicking off Summer with Summer180, a program that is a great way to build friendships, grow closer to God and have fun while doing it. Summer180 includes student picked fun days (vary every year) such as hiking, zip lining, laser tag, river days, bible studies, movie nights, leadership training, serving the community and much more.

Summer180 registration must be turned in by Wednesday, June 26 and must include a $10 deposit or the full program payment.

INFORMATION YOU WANT TO KNOW:

WHAT PARENTS SHOULD KNOW: What does Summer180 entail?

PROGRAM DAYS: Tuesdays AND Wednesdays, July 2 through August 7

TUESDAY IS FUN-DAY: At the beginning of Summer180 we will plan events for every Tuesday from July 2 until August 7. Students will pick activities like hiking, coast trips, river rafting, Family Fun Center, etc. Students will be required to reserve their WHOLE Tuesday until the calendar is planned for those allocated Fun-Days. Students will be provided with breakfast on these Tuesdays. Depending upon the choice of recreation, students will either be required to bring a sack lunch or money for those days. Dinners will typically be provided if they are full day events.

WEDNESDAYS: Students are required to be there from 3:30 p.m. until the end of Youth (dinner will not be provided unless otherwise stated). Students are required to either bring their own dinner or bring money for dinner at the Catalyst Cafe. We will set aside room in our refrigerator to accommodate the student’s needs. On Wednesdays students will have the opportunity to participate in devotionals, projects around the church and community, and be a part of the planning for our Wednesday night services.

COST: We are subsidizing a large percentage of the cost to make it available to all students who want to participate and to make it more conducive for families with multiple students. It will cost $70 per student plus a few meals during events/trips.

TEEN STAFF

This year, incoming Juniors-newly graduated students can apply to be teen staff for Summer180. This is a great opportunity to invest into youth ministry, get leadership experience and have a ton of fun!

All Students applying for leadership positions must fill out a background check and be currently active in our youth ministry.
