For youth on Aug 9th we will be heading over to the DeGeyter’s! Join us for Free Hot Dogs. Students A-L bring a snack to share and M-Z bring a dessert or drink. To carpool with us, meet at the Hull Center by 5 p.m. and we will return by 10 p.m. If you drive yourself, beware, Google will get you lost, House is at the VERY end of Clewis Lane off of Azalea Drive. Don't get lost this summer â come to Search & Rescue kids camp. This is a 5-day camp filled with zip lines, swimming, kid focused worship and fun activities. Open to children entering 2nd-6th grade. Your children have an opportunity to join hundreds of other kids from around our state for an amazing summer camp experience. They will be challenged by the services during camp chapel, build life long friendships with other kids and enjoy all the exciting kids friendly camp activities planned just for them. Come finish the summer with a great trip to the Redding Water Park! Feel free to invite friends. Cost is $25. Incoming 6th graders who currently attend our children’s ministry will get in for free as we welcome them as 6th graders! Join us for our annual church Labor Day BBQ. This year, there is a twist. We will pit our main ministry teams against each other. Children’s, Youth, Men’s, Women’s and Celebrate Recovery will compete to win an epic trophy fashioned by Rocket Laser Graphics. We will gather together to celebrate competition-worthy BBQ and our great church family. The church will provide sides and drinks. Traditions will provide dessert.
Attention all Men of Parkway, come and gather with men from different churches in Grants Pass. We will meet in the Parkway parking lot at noon on July 22 for a FREE Community-Wide Menâs BBQ. Eat good food together, worship Jesus, hear a message from Godâs Word and be encouraged as you see yourself in the larger body of Christ in Grants Pass.
Come hang out with us for youth in the park. We will be meeting at All Sports Park at the Volley Ball Courts (also known as Reinhart Volunteer Park) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tons of games and fun! Invite a friend and bring a snack to share. Catalyst will provide drinks. Open to students 6th to 12th grades.
This is our annual time of review, vision casting and prayer. Our emphasis is on where we believe God is directing us for 2017, ideas on what that might look like, and praying over these thoughts.
This is a great moment of information and inspiration for members. It includes voting on budgets and Elder positions. For all who are part of the Parkway Family it is about information and prayer regarding our future.
This event is held in the Fellowship Hall and is for all those interested in a detailed review of the budget of the church. This includes reports from 2016 and projections for 2017.

You are invited to our Lead Pastor's home for a Christmas Open House. Come by, say hi, enjoy some traditional wassail and light snacks, and wear your craziest Christmas socks. This is a relaxed, fun time to spend together as a church family during the holiday season.
Join us in the Fellowship Hall for a time to purposefully and intentionally come together and focus on God with worship and prayer before the craziness of the holidays begins. So many things scream for our attention, but God does not--this is an opportunity to hang out with God and breathe in His presence.
Parkway's men are organizing a BBQ fundraiser to help send Parkway's women to Women's Retreat March 31-April 2, 2017. Come to the Fellowship Hall after church and enjoy lunch with friends and family. Cost is $5 and it will buy you a cheeseburger or a chicken burger, chips and a drink. Tickets will be sold at the door. Why go home and eat a sad salami sandwich when you can have a great lunch with your church family and support a great cause?
This is an opportunity to join together in the Prayer Room to pray over the decisions being made in the coming election on every level. Choosing prayer over fear or anger is ours to make. The Prayer Room will be open from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with suggested scriptures to focus on that will help our prayer time to be filled with faith and expectancy and trust in our God. (Enter the Prayer Room from the parking lot behind the Sanctuary.
Bring your kids dressed up in their best costume and come join us for our annual Harvest Festival, complete with dozens of carnival games and tons of candy. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hull Center, and is for all kids ages 12 and under; admission is free.
Candy donations and many volunteers are needed for this event. Volunteer online at www.parkwaycc.com/harvest-festival and drop your candy off in the church office or in the candy bins located around the church.

The children of Parkway would like to invite you to stop by the foyer after church and pick up some tasty treats to help raise funds for their BGMC missions giving goal of $12,000 in 2016. If you would like to donate baked goods, they will gladly be accepted in the church foyer that morning.
