Ways to Grow Today!

When a tree takes root, it's not long before the action is mirrored above ground.  New branches shoot out.  Green, healthy leaves appears.  Even the trunk grows sturdier, more storm-resistant.  Because of the roots, the tree becomes firm and fruitful.  And so it is with you.  The deeper you root your life in Christ, the stronger you'll become.

Build a stronger foundation in your Christian walk with the 2:7 series of three sequential classes that feature Bible study, scripture memory and discussion. Click here to be paired with a 2:7 Mentor.

The primary ways we help believers grow in their knowledge of God’s Word is through Sunday sermons, 2:7 Mentoring, some Care Groups which focus on Bible studies, and Women’s Bible study groups.

If you are interested in individual study of God’s Word, consider finding a reading plan on (we recommend the New International Version) or listening to one of our sermon series on a book of the Bible. For advanced learners, consider reading one of these great books on Bible study:

How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth,” “How to Read the Bible Book by Book,” “Old Testament Exegesis,” or “New Testament Exegesis.”

To find individual commentaries on books of the Bible, we recommend using the Old Testament Commentary Survey or the New Testament Commentary Survey.

In addition to Sunday worship, opportunities for corporate prayer gatherings include pre-service prayer on Sunday mornings in the Sanctuary at 9:15am and Sacred Space Worship Nights. We also offer a prayer ministry called Hearing God’s Voice. Let us know if you’d like to be notified when we schedule out next prayer retreat. To inquire about further prayer opportunities, e-mail Casey at

Also consider reading one of these great books on prayer:

The Practice of the Presence of God,” “Prayer,” or “Before Amen.”
